All Darcy, All the Time.
Around here it is all Darcy all the time, well that and game shows. Over the last 4 weeks or so Audri and I only watch game shows. We are truly filled with useless knowledge and the ability to name off thousands of 5 letter words thanks to LINGO. GiGi ( my Mom ) called today ( she calls everyday ) but today she sent pictures which brings me to this, we are going to have a poll up in a few days so you can vote on who Darcy most resembles, it's been a hot topic lately. Here are some new pictures.

Working for the Weekend
An excellent weekend over here. Aunt Lily came over Friday night and tried not to talk about Brad while talking about Brad - and she played with Darcy. Saturday - we had Audri's family over - this was the first complete get together everyone even Kyle Casssaggasssgennenenenneeeeee. We ate crawfish and stared at Darcy. Marcie and Zach were in from Dallas and spent a majority of the day over here. We have no pictures of anyone except Darcy but in hindsight it would've been a good idea.

Darcy Updates
Just because our goodest friend Sarah asked, here is a daily update on Darcy.
3:45am Darcy woke up to eat.
5:00am I rocked Darcy back to sleep.
8:23am Darcy woke up and stared at the ceiling.
8:36am Diaper Change.
8:51am Ate.
9:37am Sent E-mails to some of her supporters.
10:18am Played Touch your Toes.
11:02am Sang.
11:44am Ate.
12:53am Looked at Ali for awhile.
1:02pm Diaper Change
1:43pm Played with Grandmother.
2:15pm Diaper Change.
3:35pm Bath Time
4:00pm Ate/ Slept.
5:05pm Photoshoot with Dad.
5:39pm Currently Eating.
So far Darcy enjoys long strolls thru the house to Dad's office, eating what Mom eats, Playing Touch your Toes, and Bidding on Ebay. She is currently 21 inches long and weighs a healthy 8lbs. 9ounces. She has wardrobe of adorable clothing and has a great library of books to choose from. In her free time she stares and sucks her fingers.

Darcy @ Home
Here are some pictures of Darcy at home, she likes it here so much more. Some of these are even of her in her pink boppy seat that her favorite aunt whose last name begins with a D bought her. NOTE: Darcy wanted us to let you all know that ALL of you are her favorites- each of you are unique and special and she loves you for that reason.

Darcy Elizabeth
Here she is...
Darcy was born on Feb 14th, and weighed 8.7 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. She is a happy baby, who eats and sleeps a lot. We came home from the hospital on Saturday afternoon and being home is so much better than being at the hospital. I've included a few pictures but for more you can go to this page

Dear Keith Richards,
I have never enjoyed your music, or the fact that you ruined a halftime show of the Super Bowl in 2006 in Detroit, but those may have been the only thoughts I had about you until this morning. I was getting ready to leave the house when I saw that you made some comments directed at your own country woman Amy Winehouse. Have you ever heard of the pot calling the kettle black. Sure Winehouse has an alchol/ drug problem- I don't condone that, but YOU- the guy who admitted he snorted cocaine laced with his dad's ashes- YOU are the last person to cast stones at her. And what was up with dropping the B word on her? Your incredible and pathetic, or incedibly pathetic... speaking of pathetic. ESPN is the most irresponsible news service- it seems like they would love to see Roger Clemens in the klink with prison Mike. I'm not sure if Roger used the juice or not, but one this is for sure- he is screaming his innocense from the rooftops. I guess it is easier for espn to amke money though if they get a few shots of Roger in a thicker pinstripe. Which leads me to baby commentary- the C-Section is scheduled for Thursday @ noon- Thursday is the day that pitchers and catchers report to spring training- thursday is LOST day- Thursday is Valentines day, and Thursday will be Darcy's Birthday. It is beginning to sink in now- still pretty crazy to think about. Earlier I was talking to someone and referred to Darcy as my daughter and it really hit me- it is not a joke, or a sibling of mine, but my kid- audri's kid- OUR KID. I have been working in Moblie, Al everyday on contract for a big company doing photography, but I'll be home for the first 10 days, so that is good. i'm tired now..... goodnight

Not Fat, Just Husky.
It's really close to official. Darcy will be born either next Thursday, Feburary 14 ( the day pitchers and catchers report to spring training ) or the 15 via planned C-section. Why a C-section you ask? Because our little girl is Husky, at 39 weeks she is already a plump 9lbs 14oz. The Dr. seems to think that is reason enough to get her out and not let her continue to grow. So, there ya have it our baby girl will be born on P & C (pitchers and catchers) Day, or her due date the 15th. I've included some pictures of here from the ultrasound today- check out those legs.

Many of you have sent in questions about us (Audri and I) and we are here to answer them.
1. What makes the two of you tick? ( Constance from New Jersey )
Constance, thanks for your interest and question. I would have to say discovering the mystery of life- Audri agrees- Waking up everyday not knowing what is going to happen. One day we could be sailing in the Gulf of Mexico, the next riding horses with the Mounties in Canada, we just don't know and that makes it fun.
2. What type of toothpaste do you guys buy? ( Blake in Sioux Falls, Idaho )
Blake- thanks for the sack of potatoes, we loved em. And to answer your question- Sensadyne.
3. Where do you shop for groceries? ( Marilyn, Indonesia )
Marilyn, we buy our meat at Rouse's and the canned foods at Wal-Mart or as it is known here Wal-Marts.
4. Audri, What is Corey like behind closed doors? ( Hillary C. New York / D.C. )
Hey Hil, I love that question. Corey is very laid back- he likes to read science fiction books and watch national geographic on Tv. Probably my favorite quality is when he builds things out of scrap wood - like the my 30 ft tall entertainment center, or the mechanical carousel for baby Darcy. Good Luck on Super Tuesday.
5. I'm new to your area what are some things to do on the weekend. ( Earnhart, Saucier Mississippi )
Hello E. my guess is that you are into wearing Camo, mud riding your mothers cadillac- and eating at any buffet. Well, your in luck, Mississippi is filled with places to wear camo like weddings, funerals, or the office. As for mud riding- it is a local favorite, all you have to do is wait for rain, fuel up your 4 wheeler and clog up the roads and find the closest stretch of cleared land ( pay no attention to posted signs ) and unleash your inner man. And as buffets go... take your pick we have a variable pantheon of delicious restaurants that charge different prices for the same food depending on whether it is lunch or dinner.
All in all E - you are in good shape here in Mississippi and should have plenty of time to spend on your days off.

Cheaters Never Win
In a world of over sensationalized media- it is only time before fame turns around to bite you in the butt and on the eve of the greatest sporting event EVER (until next year) the sports media is feasting on Patriots head coach Bill Billicheat. For years he has been praised for his genius and crafty play calling but it turns out that a monkey could make the brilliant decisions if it knew what the other team was about to do. The Patriots are about to play in there 4 Super Bowl in 7 years and it turns out that they have been gathering video footage of their opponets and creating a video library that would make your average blockbuster blush. The NFL has dodged controversy while its peers baseball and basketball have been drug thru the mud, but now the NFL commissioner and the Patriots are about to be called before Congress to answer for the cheating. Ok- now for you who read this blog for baby info and not my random and incomplete thoughts. Audri went for her weekly appointment Friday and she had to see another dr. because hers had to do an emergency C-section. Well subsitute dr suggested that they do another ultrasound next week because Darcy is so high and has not given any indication of coming down- and he seems to think she is rather large, so next week we should have some additional photos, and not soon after we hope to actually have a baby.
